Yesterday I had a lot of fun celebrating Thanksgiving with my family. We had lots of yummy food and good conversation.

This is a southern dish: Chicken & Dumplings. My brother-in-law’s mother made it, so I have no idea how to recreate this dish.

Soooo much food! It was all really yummy, and I’ll probably be eating on the leftovers all week!

Today my sisters and I decided we were going to do some Black Friday shopping. We didn’t head out until 9am, so all of the crazy shoppers were probably already home and asleep :-p. I wore my new Lane Bryant lace tunic that I had bought earlier in the week in their BOGO Free sale.

I would like to try it again with tights instead of leggings, but it was really comfortable to walk around in. The lining made the tunic not stick to my stomach, and I really loved the lace detailing. I paired it with a bright cardigan from Old Navy and leggings from Torrid. Luckily sense came to me after this picture and I swapped out these heels for comfy flats.I also want to try it out with different jackets and layerings.

I didn’t find too many deals, but I did take advantage of Lane Bryant’s BOGO sale for bras and a pretty blanket at Target for only $10.

What good deals did you get on Black Friday? Are you brave enough to go shop at 2-4am with the cray-cray customers :-p?
