Although, really at this point it’s spot what has remained the same!

I decided to rework the black lace top that I wore in the previous post. As I mentioned in that post, I’m having issues with the challenge. The idea there is great; I just sometimes only want to wear an item every 3 (or longer) weeks, and typically wouldn’t have reworn an item so closely together. For now I’ll keep playing along, but I’m not even sure if it’s very entertaining to see…

Oh well!

I look awful in most of these pictures, but I wore the black lace top with a lace skirt that is actually a dress, seen in a previous post. I really love using the dress as a skirt. I can make it be a little longer than the dress actually is, and I think it’s a really cute pencil skirt.

I can’t get over the lace on this dress. I love, love, love the pattern.

I also wore these beautiful earrings that I got from ASOS that are suddenly not on the site anymore. I really love these earrings, and I’m sure you’ll be seeing more of them.

Well, I’ve been at the hospital most of the day, which probably explains my less than enthusiastic post. My mother had surgery on severed tendons in her shoulder. Unfortunately when she woke up from the anesthesia, she was in horrifying pain. It’s really tough to see someone you love in such pain and unable to control any of it. I’m also one of those people that sees a family member cry and automatically tears up. It’s been an exhausting day, but they finally have her pain taken care of, and she’s spending the rest of the night in the hospital. Hopefully tomorrow will prove to be a better day!

  1. I think you look amazing! I love that dress, more so as a skirt, but even as a dress it’s WOW worthy! I’m envious of your figure, you have amazing curves!

  2. Classy and absolutely beautiful.

I think I’ve raved about this lace dress in another one of your OOTD posts… but it is still amazing!

I’m really disappointed with plus offerings when it comes to lace. Typically they aren’t detailed, or just a tiny bit of embroidery on mesh but the patterning on this is divine! Good thing you didn’t listen to your sister.

    1. Thanks, Nicole :). I agree about the lace on plus size clothes. This lace is very stretchy, and may not even really be lace even though the dress was called a lace dress. It almost seems like the material that swimsuits are made out of.
