This weekend my family celebrated my brother-in-law’s 29th birthday, so we all headed out for some yummy Asian food on Sunday. I tend to not think through what I’ll be doing that day before I dress, and today was no exception. White shirt + Moo Shu Pork = DISASTER! Although, I’m the first to admit that I’m a human napkin, so it really didn’t matter what I wore, I still would have gotten a stain (or eight).
I wore my favorite new pair of jeans from City Chic. I’m sad that they do not offer my size in all of their styles, because the fit of these jeans is AMAZING. I really love the wash, and the material is slightly stretchy, but not so much that it loses its shape or feels like I’m not wearing jeans. I put on my Old Navy eyelet top that is the perfect material and style for spring, which I also wore here.
I added on a tan woven belt by Torrid, and I really liked how that simple accessory completely changed the shape of my top. I also put on my gold bangles and turquoise ring with nails in the color of “Demure” by Revlon. I loved the gold and turquoise against the coral nail color.
I also put on these earrings that I’ve had forever, but have barely ever worn. I think they need more time out and about for sure.
I had to wear out my new heels/wedges/espadrilles/whatevayouwannacallit. These are from Avenue and are wide fit. I get so excited when I find heels that are actually comfortable to wear out. These ones are a perfect fit.
Lola approved of the outfit :). Hasn’t she gotten so big?! She was around 6 lbs when I first got her, and I think she is now around 23. I’m just so happy that she is healthy, because it was a hard journey from the start.
