As I mentioned in my last brand spotlight post, blogging opened up an entirely new world (literally) of fashion stores to buy from, and one of my absolute favorites is Simply Be (sizes 14-32Uk or 10-28US roughly). What I love about Simply Be is that they carry many different brands, so if one doesn’t fit your style there are many others to choose from. Simply Be also carries many different “types” of clothing. You can find fantastic plus size dresses, jeans at different lengths, the perfect top for a night out, underwear, and maternity wear all at one place.

Especially within the last year, I’ve seen Simply Be grow to have some really beautiful clothing, and I like that I can find an edgier piece, like the PU pocket tunic below, or a girly piece, like the floral dress.

Here’s some of my current favorites:

PU Trim Tunic

I’m loving the pockets, and how they are a simple but interesting detail not often seen in plus clothing. I could see someone wearing this dress with a neon necklace for drinks after work.

Rise Boutique Cynthia Dress

This dress is so sweet with its pattern, and the layered skirt is different than everything I own in my closet. This might have to be mine come spring!

Pencil Skit with PU Trim

One of the biggest challenges of being in the upper part of the plus-size range is that you’re often limited on different shapes in clothing. I love that Simply Be has so many pencil skirts up to a size 32, and this red one caught my eye instantly.

Knitted Cape Cardigan

Here’s another red item that I fell in love with (and we all know how I feel about red this season). While I know this sweater wouldn’t fit me in the same way as the model, I still think  the shape would be fun to wear to the movies, and again, it has just that extra little detail in being a cape instead of a cardi to become an unexpected and interesting piece for my wardrobe.

From my experiences buying with Simply Be, I think the biggest shopping tip is to take advantage of all of the information they give you about each item. You can find out how long a dress is, read customer reviews on an item, and get information about materials and washing directions. All of this helps in making us informed shoppers.

What are your favorite pieces or brands from Simply Be? If you’ve bought from them before, tell us a little about your experience so we can make some informed shopping decisions 🙂

This is a partnership post. It reflects my true impressions about simplybe.co.uk

  1. I was actually really disappointed with Simply Be 🙁 They seem to run really small (or both Evans and Yours run big)- I got 3 things, and only one really fits. BUT, everything I bought is adorable! I’m gonna try and make it work somehow, sigh.
