In my experience, one of the best things about plus size blogging is connecting with women who I can relate to, but I’ve always found it hard to find women who were my size (28) blogging. Last week I sent a call out on Twitter asking to be introduced to more blogs that featured fashionable women size US 24+. I quickly realized that a lot of people on Twitter wanted to know the same, so I set out to find as many fashion bloggers in that size range as I could. I also quickly realized that “size” is hard to determine (my closet has clothes from size 22-30!), so I emailed and sought permission from all of the following bloggers. With a great number of plus-size lines ending at size US 22/24, I find myself sometimes feeling very limited within plus-size fashion, so seeing all of the bloggers below was amazingly inspiring and exciting. After looking at them all, fashion size 24+ doesn’t seem as limiting as I sometimes think of it. Some of these bloggers were ones I’ve known about for years, and some were new to me. I hope you find some great new blogs to follow or some old ones to get reacquainted with 🙂

I also came across a few blogs that seem to be no longer updated. They are definitely worth checking out, though, because their archives hold some serious fashion: The Busty Traveler, Hello Jiggles, and On the Fat Walk.

If you are a fashion blogger size 24+ or know one that I’ve not included here, please feel free to leave links in the comments.

  1. I kept meaning to respond to this. I definitely fit into this category. Thanks for putting together such a great list. Found lots of new people to follow from it. 🙂 x

  2. Yay! I love this list!

I also love that I am part of it! Sometimes I get a little bit down because a lot of blogs I catch up on just don’t understand my size range and that’s cool but it makes inspiration difficult at times. I’ve always stalked your blog as I can totally relate to you which is awesome and now I have this post!

    Thank you so much!

  3. Great post! I’m more or less a 24 UK, I’m Italian, and can you belive that there’s only another one Italian blogger other than me that does outfits post which is close to my size?! I’m glad I can find post like this and find other girls to take inspiration!

  4. I’m a UK 26 bottom and size 28-30 top. So frustrating when so called plus sized clothing ranges stop at 26 or even lower. It’s almost pointless calling it a plus size range IMO.
Great post. I now have lots of other great blogs to follow that I had no idea about.

  5. It is so great to know that there are some serious fashion mavens who do not fit into the mold that society holds out for them. I see women out there, strutting their stuff and being bold!!!!! I am so proud of you my sisters! If you girls are anything like me and would like to loose weight, why be mousie while doing it or maybe you are happy the way you are. It is all about accepting yourself and loving yourself the way you are. I am an 18. I’m glad to find more of girls like me out there. Keep up the blogging, I am going to check out some of these blogs. We are not alone. We are here, we are proud, and we are not going away so get with the “fat”! Party on gals!

  6. There you Beautiful Ladies Are ! Just about everything in My Boutique is Above sz 24 … Cinda Shields aka Mz Cinda the Modern goddess . Best place to look for Me .. Facebook

  7. I love that you have done this Rebecca, me too I am a size 24+ blogger as well, but I am fairly new compared to everyone else here. You were my inspiration to get started!!

  8. You have no idea how thrilled I am to see this list and to be included. I have been looking for these blogs. I have read some of them, but now I have a plethora of new ones to gobble up. Thank you.

  9. Great post! Great to see all these lovely ladies and their awesome style! and thanks for introducing me to some new plus size bloggers, always a good thing!

  10. Fantastic blog post, thank you so much for sharing! I’m a Blogger from Switzerland and I’m a size 24 / 26 lower half and currently pregnant.

I share your list with my readers!

    xxo Melanie

  11. LOVE THIS!! Thank you so much for compiling this, as a size 26AU+ fatty, so often I can feel under-represented by fatshion. Maybe we should send this to plus-size companies who cut off before our size and show them just how they are missing out on a target market.

  12. Thank you so very much for this. <3 I'm a US 30/32 and it always makes me feel horrible when all the awesome stuff slightly smaller ladies are wearing ends at a 28. 🙁 So nice to see awesome at my size too!

  13. Great post! Thanks for sharing. This gives me so many new fat style blogs to look at, and I love the idea of blogs created by people who wear size 24+ getting more exposure. I hope many other style blogs link to this post.

  14. What a fantastic idea to do this! I’m so glad you followed your instincts.
When you have time, please check out my daughter’s website. She’s a plus-size
designer and is currently working on a new collection. annalogy247.com

  15. THANK YOU for this! I am a size 24/26 and I feel like I rarely find plus bloggers over 18/20. I knew of some of these fab ladies, like Chubble Bubble and Chubby Cartwheels, but so psyched to check out some of the others I never knew about. Great post! We need to see more reflections of ourselves. I love our diversity. xo, V

  16. I think we need to do some sort of OUTFIT Challenge, I know they are quite common, but specifically for Size 24+ bloggers, we all know that this size is so hard to style.

  17. Love your blog, Im not very good at blogging, but at a size 24 know exactly what the problem is, they ‘the fashion industry’ try and ignore us, apparently we just dont exist., look out for my new online shop coming in the next couple of weeks, http://www.dizzedplus.com where I have chosen clothes I love myself and hope you all do…

  18. Not necessarily fashion although I do bang on about Tarina Tarantino during one of my posts – definitely a fatshionista though I have a giant wall to wall closet filled with amazing (some not so amazing) clothes and I love to share with my friends when they need to borrow something for a special occasion. My blog about living in West Hollywood at a size 24 when the city standard appears to be a 2 can be found at http://mividagordita.com

  19. I love this post!! I’m always looking for plus size beauties to check out, so thank you for putting this list together.

You guys are more than welcome to check out my site. I’m not really a “fashion blogger” so much as I am a lifestyle blogger (well, when I remember to post).

    Thanks again love!

  20. It’s wonderful to see such a vast array of shapes and styles. All completely gorgeous. Thanks so much for sharing this, I think I’ve found a couple of new faves in this list.

  21. Hello everybody! What a great list of FATshionistas;) Many thanks to Rebecca for this review.

My name is Olga, I’m from Russia. My size is 26-28 UK and I also have my little fashion blog http://bigbeautifulola.livejournal.com/ – unfortunately it’s still only in russian, but you can see the pictures and leave your comments on my outfits. Welcome to my page!

    XOXO from cold Russia 🙂

  23. So a bit out of context for this post (but maybe not really) – WHAT THE HECK, ELOQUII?!

Somehow, I just found this out today and it hit me square in the face. 🙁

  24. I loved this post it gave me a lot of new reading material! I luv ur blog lots, u r now on my blogroll check me out sometimes, smooches

  25. I have blogged at definatalie.com since 2007 and I’m an au26 and i think a uk28. I am especially interested in sewing my own clothes these days.

  26. Sometimes it feels like there are more “inbetweenies” than “real” plus size bloggers, so I’m glad to see this.
I am a 26 myself and have a fatshion and fat acceptance blog in German and English.

  27. Hi ladies,
    Found this blog post.
    Loved it!
I run a plus size boutique in London.
    Ship worldwide.
    I’m a size 22/24 uk
    Follow me on Instagram @cococurveboutique

  28. LOVE this! I wear anything from a 22 to a 28 (smaller on top, bigger on bottom, littler waist), so I am -constantly- on the search for affordable, edgy clothes beyond Wal-mart. ;D I wish these were all Tumblogs, so I could follow along w/them daily! ♥

And though I don’t do fatshion explicitly, I have one blog all about bellydance w/a focus on plus-size folks and those w/ dis/abities, and one blog that’s an everything blog, featuring everything from size & body positivity, sexuality, to makeup and random weirdness. 🙂 If you like you can find them at bigtimebellydance.tumblr.com, and weirdlingwonders.tumblr.com, respectively. ^_^

Thanks so much for this badass post, and for sharing so many great peoples with us! Yay for bein’ curvy, courageous and fierce!

  29. Cool! Found quite a few new ones to follow! As many of you lovely ladies here, I too fall in the category of a plussized lady. The size really depends on the brand and can be anywhere from UK18 to UK26. And I too blog.http:// stinkerbellen.blogspot.com

  30. What a great list – a fantastic resource!

Seeing images of size 24+ bodies is HUGE. Pun fully intended.

It’s why – even though I’m not a fatshion blogger – I post a LOT of images of myself and my outfits.

I post images in my posts at xoJane.com (http://www.xojane.com/author/marianne) but I also instagram like a fool. I’m TheRotund there.

  31. Awesome to see so many gorgeous plus size ladies rocking such amazing outfits! We have a lack of plus bloggers in New Zealand (I am one of three that I know of), so it’s great to see so many overseas bloggers being so fabulous.

I’m a size 24-26 and you can find my fashion and beauty blog at http://thisismeagankerr.com

    xx

  32. Im 19 and a size 26/28 and cant find clothes im also 6’1 so even harder to find pants..im on a journey to find cute clothes that fit so if anyone can help that would mean so much:)

  33. I’m quite new to blogging too. I’m a size 20/22 bottom, but 24-28 on top.. So please stop by if you like. I read several of these blogs on a daily basis and it is great how they have a totally unique style and are so lovely and friendly too.

    1. You are officially my favourite person in the world. I think you and I could be twins, except I’m 5’3″. Love your blog, I will be a frequent visitor from now on!!

  34. I have to wonder why you would go to/seek out a plus size fashion website only to then say that you are horrified about plus size people and the fact that they could be happy in themselves. To me, THAT is horrifying.

  36. Great website, and it’s so good to see more and more plus size bloggers out there! I get all my fashion inspiration from other plus size women who are daring to share their personal style with others!

  37. This is a great list about the plus size fashion. In that plus size fashion wear, all the ladies are looking gorgeous. It’s really good to see more and more plus size bloggers out there. This type of blog gives strength and fashion to the plus size women’s. This list is useful for those that wear the larger plus sizes.
