I can’t believe that I’ve been home for a week and a half and am just blogging about Day Three. I need to tap that energy source I had while in NY, but I’m pretty sure it was just part of being in the hustle and bustle of the city. Anyway! On to one of my favorite events, the cruise! I had tough time finding something for the cruise this year. I didn’t want it to be lace embellished like last year, and that’s all I could seem to find. I ended up with a dress that I meant to get shortened but never did. Kind of glad though because it ended up being a very chilly and windy evening. The cruise is all about having a good time with good people, so that’s what I did: some talking, some dancing (aka moving my shoulders), and taking in a beautiful view.
Gaelle of The Curvy and Curly Closet, Jennifer of Jasifer Lions Club, and I waiting to board the boat. Can I just point out have they both have cute facial experiences and I am always stuck in the “smile for the yearbook” pose.
Brittany convinced me to wear eyeliner during the trip. I feel like a changed woman. I love the Maybelline Master Precise Eyeliner now.

And, of course, we can’t do a FFFWeek cruise without doing pictures in the photobooth courtesy of Sonsi.com
Check back in for FFFWeek Day Four later in the week and look through my previous posts about FFFWeek here, here, here and here.
I just love the idea of a white cruise! I liked seeing everyone’s interpretation of it. I loved your dress and you looked like you were having so much fun! You looked so beautiful. I loved the sparkles on your dress. Just enough sparkles to make it noticeable. You are always spot on and your decision for wardrobe on the trip was perfect. You were always a step above the rest in the pictures I have seen. It is always good to meet new and old friends and see the coming season’s fashions. What was your favorite? To meet the designers! how fabulous! You come home even more refreshed and excited about blogging. Were you able to go into many shops in NYC that catered to plus sizes? What are your goals this year for your blog? Wow! I’m just throwing out questions right and left! You ought to dedicate one about repurposing old outfits with something new. I think you would kill on that theme. I for one would like to repurpose my old outfits with a bit of new. Well, glad you are home and l am looking forward to seeing more of your trip.
Thank you so much, Denisa! I loved some of the more laid back looks of the night, especially the girls with the floral headbands. It was fun to see how each person’s personality filtered through their looks. My favorite thing about attending is talking with the girls I’ve created relationships with online. The next favorite is getting all of the sneak peeks. Makes me a little too excited for fall. I went to Lane Bryant, Bloomingdales, and Forever21. Not too many! I was pinching my pennies to be in NYC, so couldn’t do too much damage :). I think this year my goal is to reconnect with my original intent behind my blog. Use this space to promote a more diverse understanding of beauty, and to connect more with other bloggers and plus size women. Let’s see if I can do it (it takes time commitment–something I’ve struggled with!). Thank you for always have such awesome comments.

Thank you for reading 🙂
You look SO stunning – I have to be honest, everyone looks beautiful, but your dress was the best of the night. You look radiant in all the photos. And I love the one with the bunny ears!
Thank you so much Lauren 🙂 That’s so sweet. And yes! The bunny ears! I had about 2 seconds to grab something and they seemed to flop in the right direction and help me out 🙂

Thank you Louise! I hope I get to make it next year too. So nice to be around everyone
The pictures are so lovely. You all look great in your white dresses. Sam is so gorgeous.
Thank you!
You are welcome, darling 🙂
You definitely win best dressed in your white sweetheart gown with the sheer overlay and crystals. It looks fab on you! I’m a little self-conscious in strapless dresses, though I like the look of them better than spaghetti straps or tank dresses. Your dress, however, has it all and gives the coverage I would want across my chest and collarbone while still giving that sweetheart look. I loved looking through this year’s pictures and comparing them with last year’s!
Yea, I liked the coverage too! The last thing I want is to be tugging and pulling into place all evening.
Looks like you are all having a fab time 🙂 You look so beautiful in the white dress!

Your white dress is dramatic, fashionable and flattering. I love all the fashions, especially the ones by OnOz and Sean Anthony. I am also pleased to see my local Macy’s expanded their plus size section – it is about time!
