This OMCZ challenge is a little funny because if there is any kind of clothing that will keep me in my comfort zone, it is very much so my nightwear. I am the most picky person with what I wear to bed. It can’t be pants because they will get caught up under me as I sleep. I can possibly do a short dress, but I will find myself swaddled like a baby in that too. When I walk around the house in “loungewear”, I do awful things like wear once-expensive basic dresses/sundresses that look like I have beaten them up and that they only would cost $5. For as much as I love to dress up, when I dress down, I dress really down.
So, this challenge made me think about when nightwear is important to me, and honestly I can only remember purposefully buying pajamas around Christmas time every year.
When I was in high school, me and my friends all bought onesies or footie pajamas. We would wear them on band trips or basically just to have a laugh. They became a staple in my Christmas morning look because there was nothing that awakened the Christmas spirit like channeling the child inside myself and making everyone else slightly uncomfortable at the same time.

As I outgrew the onesies, my next holiday pj of choice were the themed pj pants from Old Navy. Every year, all of their sections including plus get holiday print pjs.

As for nightwear, I’m about as boring as boring gets. Let’s hope the other ladies in the OMCZ challenge take their nightwear a little more creatively:

Do you take your nightwear seriously or are you like me and basically have it as the last thing you think about?
I wear the most worn and beaten and largest t-shirt I can find – preferably my bf’s or at least bought at the same store where he buys his t-shirts. They are sooo comfy. So yeah. I wear the largest men’s t-shirt I can possibly stumble upon. Luckily, he doesn’t care so much about what I’m wearing! 😀
Nightwear is easy. Wearing absolutely nothing in bed is the only thing that works for me.
I totally agree. I wear my “birthday suit” to bed and cuddle a bolster pillow. It works wonders.
Now I want some pumpkin PJ bottoms! I didn’t know such a thing existed. I love Halloween anything.
I’m so low-maintenance and lazy when it comes to pj’s. If we have people stay the night or if I go to a sleepover, I have to think through what to wear to sleep in. lol Thankfully my mom buys me nice pj sets every other Christmas, so I have some on hand. Otherwise it’s tanks and boyshorts or sleepshirts. Booooooring.

those pumpkin bottoms are amaxing! I admit to being a PJ queen. they have to be long legged but I pull them up over my knees when I get in bed! I don;t know why x
I’m doing good if I wear underpants to bed, lol. I absolutely hate feeling restricted or tangled up in clothes while I’m trying to sleep. I think I’m weird or something. But I digress… if I’m just lounging around the house though, I’m a tank top and gym shorts kind of girl. I keep it simple and comfy.
I wear a big oversized tee shirt. It’s the only thing that makes me feel comfy when I toss and turn.
I am also kinda lazy when it comes to nightwear.lol I usually lounge around the house with themed PJs like the ones you’ve showed , and when it’s time to go to bed I keep the top and undies. I hate to be tangled in clothes in bed since I move a lot.
