I’ve been a member of the Kiyonna Blogger Brigade for a few months now, and I kept almost picking their Athena twist top but would end up choosing a more “safe” style. I always stopped short thinking that the v-neck would expose too much, and I’m a teacher so I think about these things pretty seriously. This month I decided to step out of my typical conservative choices and try out this new style, and I’m so happy I did!

As you can see, the v-neck gives this top a sexy nod without showing too much (or too much for me).

I have multiple Kiyonna items in this Raspberry Wine color, and I always love how they look against my skin tone. It’s the kind of color that I gravitate toward when selecting something to wear out during the evening or for work.

Since someone already modeled this top on Kiyonna‘s site with a pencil skirt, I decided to wear it with skinny jeans. I wear jeans about 80% of the time, so for me, this is the perfect “going out to dinner with friends” look.
