I’ve gotten to work with Kiyonna many times over the last year, but, when they told me about their campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I was really excited to share with you what they are doing and what you can do to participate in raising awareness and money for a breast cancer foundation of Kiyonna’s choice. One in 1,000 men and 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, and Kiyonna, with the help of you, wants to spread the word and help to find a cure.
For the entire month of October, Kiyonna is selling a Pretty in Pink option of their Sunset Stroll Bellini where 100% of their proceeds (75% of wholesale sales) go to an accredited breast cancer foundation. Along with the bellini proceeds, Kiyonna wants to spread the word by using the hashtags #ShowYourPink and #KiyonnaGives. Their goal is to have women across the country show their pink, whether it be their bellini or their other favorite pink fashion piece on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. At the end of the month Kiyonna will research the hashtag and donate $1 for every participating #ShowYourPink that includes #KiyonnaGives.
I’ve taken some pictures with Kiyonna’s Pretty in Pink Sunset Stroll Bellini, and I’ll be tagging my photos/tweets and retweeting/reposting those of you I see in my feed participating in the hashtags. I hope you will join me in raising money and awareness for this cause!

Kiyonna Clothing will donate $1.00 for every Facebook, Instragram or Twitter post that includes a picture of something pink that represents fashion and/or breast cancer with the following hashtags (#ShowYourPink and #KiyonnaGives) with a cap of $5,000.00. Picture must be tasteful and relevant to the cause in order to be eligible for donation.
More than 1.6 million new cases of breast cancer were diagnosed among women around the world in 2010. The rate is rising. There are some countries where women have no access to treatment and others who do but can not afford it. Recently, my friend was in Indonesia (a developing third world country) and she visited a hospital in Bali. The equipment to detect early is out dated and painful. Wonderful to learn that Kiyonna is adding their 2-cents to help women. I will be posting my pink ribbon shirt on their facebook page! #showyourpink.

I think this is such a great campaign from Kiyonna, and I love that they make is so easy for us to get involved in the cause. I love seeing how you ladies are each styling this pink bellini. I spotted this perforated top as being from LB immediately. I so wish I’d purchased it! I hesitated because I wasn’t sure what to wear over it, but this is so sweet!

For years now I have been hiding my self behind traditional Indian clothes because I am plus size….don’t get me wrong I love our fashion… But I miss wearing western clothes like hell….seeing your here n reading ur blogs has in been very encouraging thank u so much…if u don’t mind may I ask what size jeans do you wear
