Sometimes when I am putting together an outfit I just want simplicity. I would say that the word “simple” is very descriptive of my style. I love little details. Those are exciting to me. This outfit is very simple, but I love my accessories and I let them shine.

I paired my well-worn Torrid Bomber Jacket with a black top from Walmart‘s Just My Size line and Evan’s dark wash jeggings. I’m wearing these beautiful red velvet flats from Evan’s and a cocktail ring from Target. The necklace is a skeleton key I bought from a flea market and added to a chain.

I’ve always thought skeleton keys were so beautiful. Not only the design, but also the stories and symbols behind them. What did they once open? What were they hiding? Who was the owner? I especially love the worn golden color of the ring and key.

What accessories do you like to showcase in your outfits? Can anyone guess where a key is hidden in one or more of these pictures? 😉

    1. Yeah, I’m REALLY loving their jeggings, although I have noticed that they shrink upwards if you dry them in the dryer (which you’re not supposed to, but I do it anyways). This has been fine for me since they are about 3 inches or so too long when I get them. I have both the black and just plain dark wash denim ones, and they are a good material and so comfortable.
